Please excuse my unoriginality, clever usernames are not my forte.
Anyway, I'm a sixth year, Hufflepuff, twin, and a huge quidditch fan.

” I was talking about Ted. Isn’t Theodore the name for the nickname Ted?” Ravenna asked, cocking her head in confusion. “C’mon Philip! We’ve got to get cracking on this. Get up!” Ravenna pulled at his arm and picked up his bag. “It’s for your own good. One would think you’d attempt excitement.”

He nodded, “It is a little confusing, but I think Theodore is Ted’s real name. Sorry, just threw me off a bit.” Philip groaned, “Why now?” He pouted, “Can’t we start this tomorrow?” He let himself be pulled up by Ravenna, but slouched none the less. He fake smiled. “Please, I’m dying in anticipation.”

“No, we can’t start tomorrow!” Ravenna exclaimed, looping arm around Philip’s to make sure he would follow. She pinched him when he was being sarcastic. They stopped at the door of the library and she dropped his arm. She gestured that he should lead the way and followed him to the twin sister.

"Ugh, fine." He let Ravenna loop an arm through his and they walked out toward the entrance of the library. Though he was excited about this quest to find him a girlfriend, he knew he would drag his feet the entire way, whining loudly. He briefly wondered where Pippa would be. There was no quidditch practice right now, so the common room was their best bet. "She’s probably in the Hufflepuff common room, I think." He wondered if Pippa would approve of his new friend…

“Then maybe I’ll find a better friend in Pippa and drop you,” Ravenna teased. “I do need someone who can practice Quidditch with me… Kidding! Who knows? Maybe you’ll have two built in best friends?” Ravenna leaned over and grinned mockingly.

We are going to find Pippa or Theodore. Take your pick. We have to start right away so you get this negative way of thinking out of your head. So, who are we finding?”

”That’d probably be a better idea,” Philip said, only half joking. “She is way better at quidditch.” He knew she was joking, but he meant what he had said about his sister. “Who knows?” he repeated. Still sitting at the small library table, he smirked back. “Wait are you talking about Theo or Ted right now? I think Pippa would be better, but if we find one of them first, it’ll be fine.”

Philip smiled back at her, “Yeah, I am. Pippa’s a million times cooler, smarter and nicer than I am. She makes me laugh more than anyone else can. And she’s the better quidditch player. Don’t tell her I said all that, though.” He thought about how he and his sister playfully argued over who was the perfect one. the other day. “I’m sure your built in best friend is somewhere, Ravenna,” he added cheerfully. He was silent for a moment as she loooked back at her book. “Where are you going?” he whispered loudly as she started packing her stuff. Ugh, not now, he thought. A part of him had been hoping she’d forget all about it tomorrow.

He instantyl felt guilty for the cooties joke. It wasn’t meant to be cruel, he had just forgotten about that part of Ravenna. He thought about it as he pretended to read. The guilt was momentarily forgotten as she shoved her book aside and asked about being a twin. A smile spread across his face. “Yeah, Pippa and I are twins. It’s cool, you know, like having a built in best friend. I don’t all twins are as close as we are, but most of them are. We understand each other really well. When we fight, it doesn’t last long and we make up quickly.” He could go on and on about his relationship with his sister, but shut his mouth before he bored Ravenna to sleep. “Alright, alright, I’ll trust you!” He wanted to add somethin witty, but couldn’t think of anything. “I trust you,” he repeated.

Ravenna’s smile was bright while Philip talked about his twin sister. “I’m in need of a built in best friend,” Ravenna laughed. “That sounds awesome. You’re so lucky to have her. She sounds great.”

“Good,” Ravenna whispered, looking into Philip’s eyes. She turned back to her book before it became an awkward moment. “We should probably find your sister or Ted. We’ve been here quite awhile. We can start on the match making now!” Ravenna exclaimed, grabbing her things with a smile.

Philip smiled back at her, “Yeah, I am. Pippa’s a million times cooler, smarter and nicer than I am. She makes me laugh more than anyone else can. And she’s the better quidditch player. ”Girls have cooties!” he said seriously. He grinned as she shook her head. Madam Pince walked by again, and he quickly buried put his head down, looking at the book in front of him. Waiting a moment or two, he lifted his head. “She’s so mean sometimes. Anyway, yes Ted and I are friends, but the person who knows me best is Pippa, my twin. I don’t know if you know her. Ha, I’m sure it’ll be fun for you, but for me it’ll be excructiating.”

“If anyone’s to have cooties, it’s me,” Ravenna said, knowing she made a stab at herself, but thought it was more fun to make a joke about herself before letting anyone else do so. She did like Philip and started to read when Madam Pince went by. Boring boring blah blah blah. She pretty much threw the book aside once the librarian walked away. “You have a twin?! That’s awesome! I’ve always thought that if Rab and I were twins, we’d understand each other better. What’s it like to have a twin?”

Ravenna looked over at Philip. “Honestly! You’ll be fine. Trust me, alright?”

Philip rolled his eyes playfully, “Whatever you say…” It seemed as though everyone was a hopeless romantic, except him. “It still sounds a little dull.” He chuckled as Ravenna squealed, but it was something of a shock when she dashed around the table and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. To cover it, he quickly rubbed at his cheek teasingly and smirked at her. “Alright, but I’m going to be picky. Matchmaking for me may not be as fun as you want it to be.” He wasn’t sure who she’d pick but it would be intresting to see who it would be. “Maybe I might,” he said thoughtfully, looking at the couple.

“Exactly, ya prude! Can’t even get a little peck on the cheek from a friend, huh?” Ravenna playfully slapped him on the arm and shook her head. “That’s alright. I’m picky too. I’ve only been talking to a few people out of my house so feel special,” she laughed. “If we can’t get someone in Gryffindor, Ted can help with the Hufflepuffs, your own house. He and I should talk. Our last conversation did not end pleasantly. I broke the news about the betrothal and he didn’t want to believe me. But aren’t you friends with him? He’d know you better and would be able to help. It’ll be fun. Don’t worry.”

Philip was exasperated. “That’s not what I mean,” he sighed. “They’re just looking at each other, like their faces are the most fascinating thing in the world.” He laughed, “You know, sometimes, I can be an arse when it comes to romance and all that stuff. I don’t know why, though. I’ve been surrounded by women my whole life, so I should at least undestand that stuff.” He sighed again as she offered to set him up with a Gryffindor. “Sure, fine. Whatever.” he said warily, though a part of him was a little excited. He smiled back at her.

“Sometimes if you’re in love enough, that’s true. I wouldn’t know. I’ve just been told. It seems lovely, though. I’ve been surrounded by guys my whole life who could not know less about women. It’s normal.” Ravenna silently squealed when Philip complied to being set up. She went around the table and sat next to him, giving him a small peck on the cheek as her thanks. “You will not regret this, Philip! I think a girlfriend would do you good, huh? Maybe help you understand ‘that stuff’ and make you realize it’s not just stuff. Maybe you’ll even understand what they have,” Ravenna stated, her chin pointing to the couple in the corner.
